Overview

Apollo connects to your AWS accounts to provide infrastructure visibility alongside your project management. Monitor services, track costs, and manage deployments — all without leaving Apollo.

Setup

1

Add AWS Account

Navigate to Platform > Infrastructure > Connections and click Add AWS Account.
2

Configure Access

Apollo uses STS AssumeRole with an External ID for secure, credential-less access. You create an IAM role in your AWS account and provide the role ARN.
Apollo never stores long-term AWS credentials. Access is granted through temporary STS tokens that expire automatically.
3

Test Connection

Click Test to verify Apollo can assume the role and access your account.

AI Integration

Apollo Brain has 21 infrastructure tools for managing AWS through natural language:
  • “Show me all ECS services in the production cluster”
  • “What are our AWS costs this month?”
  • “Force deploy the API service in production”
  • “List all Lambda functions with errors in the last 24 hours”
